Turmeric drinks are often referred to as Golden Milk. Turmeric is often well regarded as a wonder spice due to its many benefits.
It helps reduce inflammation due to its anti-inflammatory nature. It is also known to help with arthritis pain, inflammation in the colon and digestive issues.
How To Make Golden Milk Latte
Combine all of the ingredients into a saucepan. Whisk.
Lower the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and add maple syrup, if using.
Pour the latte into 2 cups.

I like to top my Turmeric Milk with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.
If you are wanting to create a frothy beverage, pour the mixture into a blender and blend until frothy.
It is important to remember that turmeric needs to be paired with black pepper to increase absorption. But, the black pepper can be omitted if you are AIP.
And just a quick turmeric tip for you here! If you start having issues with yellow stains on your countertop from the turmeric, please remember that turmeric is photosensitive. This means that you can leave anything that gets stained in direct sunlight for several hours to help wash the stain away. This is a good thing to remember when you are making this Golden Milk Latte throughout the week.
Does This Golden Milk Latte Contain Caffeine?
This Golden Milk Latte does not contain any coffee or caffeine.
Can I Make This Into An Iced Version?
Yes, you can! Enjoy an Iced Golden Milk Latte by pouring it over a cup of ice, especially during the warm months.
How To Store This Beverage
If you are wanting to save your Turmeric Latte for later, you can just pour it into an airtight glass jar and store in the fridge for up to a day.
