Summer is just my favorite time of year because I love warmer weather and also that means that we get to spend a little more time outdoors.
It’s been hot here in Iowa! As stated above, I like warmer weather but I don’t like it when it’s too hot. But on those days when it is really warm, I like to cool off with a refreshing beverage.
This Mango Green Tea Cooler didn’t last long at our house and we enjoyed every last sip of this tasty beverage.
Mango Green Tea Cooler
3 Green Tea Bags
4 Cups Water
1 Cup Mango Puree
1 tbsp. Lemon Juice
4 Basil Leaves
1/2 Cup Mango, chopped into cubes
1 tbsp. Sugar (optional)
Peel and chop at least 2 mangos (you will need enough to make 1 cup of pureed mango) and place into a blender and blend until pureed.
Bring the water to a boil and add the tea bags and sugar (if using and boil. Remove from the heat and let the tea cool.
Remove the tea bags and place the cooled tea into a jug. Add in the mango puree, lemon juice, and basil.
Place some mango chunks into the bottom of some beverage glasses and pour the mango green tea cooler into the glasses.
